Comcast cable and internet?

I am moving into my first apartment on friday. unfortunetly only comcast works for cable and internet where I will be moving. so I have to get service with them. they are ridiculously high in prices and Ive heard not so many good things about them. Im wondering if there is any way to have them lower the price? or waive the first time fees?...they are trying to make me pay 150$ just for someone to come out and for the equipment. and it has to be paid right there and not in payments, im very angry about this because i know so many other companys that dont do this. I was just wondering if anyone knew a way around this? thanks
