Re: What do I charge?

I am a kitchen designer by trade with over 5 years experience who was recently made redundant and wishes to go self-employed. I have been offered my first three kitchens and 2 bathrooms to design. I will have to meet the customer, measure up and design the layout and work closely with the customer until they are happy. I will be designing using Planit Fusion (CAD). I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how much I should be charging? I wanted to set an hourly rate as the size of the kitchen may differ each time. Is anyone in the trade who does something similar? Or should I just charge him what I was on hourly before I was made redundant (which was about �12 an hour)? Thanks very much.
