The current electoral system should change because...?

Because it hasn't been honestly put into place for years. Redistricting and false counts have been a part of the landscape for some time. While its original roots were well intended (to keep a less populated area from being overridden by the populated area), the gerrymandering continues. I can ure you, it will get WAY worse with the upcoming census. Because the census DIRECTLY effects this, it needs to be done away with or handed off to non-partisan agencies NOT in the government's control and laws need to be followed. In other words, don't let ACORN do it, take it BACK OUT of the White House as it is unconstitutional, and enforce immigration laws. But again..I don't think it's working. So number one is the most reasonable. Democracy is mob rule which we already live under with the electoral college. The voting system has been broken ON PURPOSE.
