Can i run windows 7 successfully on nvidea geforce fx 5500?

i bought yesterday a new inno3d AGP video card(geforce fx 5500) with 128bit and 256mb.. because before.. i am only using an integrated graphic card with 64mb.. and i am running windows xp sp3.. i have intel celeron D 3.06Ghz processor and 1gb of system ram... I had a hard time of looking for an agp video card because it is already faced out and been replaced by an pci express.. so this is the only graphic card i bought.. now.. i am already running the card in my system.. and i am planning to upgrade to windows 7 ultimate 32bit.. i am wondering if this card can perform well well on my system with the transparent effect and other aero effect of windows 7?
