I have a back problem?

hi i posted a question last week about my back, near my spine and just under my right shoulder blade i get tingling, numbness and a burning sensation, it has been coming and going for a few months now, but recently it has got quite painfull and the pain goes down the right side of back back to my hip, also a pain in the right side of my neck has started coming and going too, i cant see a doctor untill the 15th, any ideas what it could be and what could i do in the mean time? i have thought about taking pain killers but the pain only lasts for about an hour or so, as far as i know i have not injured it (i think i would of noticed if i had) thanks
