I need help please help me?

so am I stupid because I'm always confuse easily and i ask questions a lot and i write slow I'm in 7 th grade pre-ap and in language arts i got stuck like in simile, metaphor, and stuff does that make me stupid and is my first time in pre-ap (I do not want silly comments)
