My husband beats me... HELP!!!!?

Please listen, I come here crying in desperation, I have no one to go to, no one to talk to and I feel like dying. Please don't delete this question, I just need someoone to "talk" to! I lost my parents when I was a very little girl, I was raised by their families and they were extremelly abusive. They hit me and abused me in every sense of the word. I married what I thought was my prince charming and now he has turned to be an abuser, he beats me and I don't know what to do. I am not the wife who gets beaten by her husband, I am not the woman who just sits there wondering when her husband will keep his promise and kill her in a moment of rage over her asking him for a cup of water, I am not that kind of woman. I have no where to go, no one to run to, I have no friends because he has kept me away from all my friends and family, please pray for me, please HELP ME!!! What do I do? Today he beat me because I asked for the divorce, he storms out and comes back like nothing happened...
