Will my local Ace Hardware take back my shovel and refund my money?

I bought it when our Commander-in-Thief announced that he was creating mucho "shovel ready" jobs. I paid $29.95 and it has sat in my garage gathering cobwebs ever since. I have written to the Thief and scoured the want ads for shovel ready jobs, all for naught.
