Although the book is called "The Great Gatsby," Nick is the reader's eyes, ears and brain. We see his version of events and his take on Gatsby. It is ultimately his book. Why is Nick the chosen narrator for this novel and how do his personality and financial realities make him a good choice? How does his view of Gatsby Change from beginning to end? If Gatsby represents "everything for which I (Nick) have an unaffected scorn," why was Nick so fascinated by him?
